Collection: Advanced Sailboat Navigation Course in Mexico

This level is for those who have completed the Intermediate level with us or have equivalent experience and knowledge. The prerequisite is to have been at sea for a total of at least 24 days in command of a sailing vessel or as a watch leader on at least 2 voyages and in 2 different maritime zones.

The advanced course lasts 5 days, all the time on board .

In CANCUN Sails at 9am from the V&V marina in Playa Mujeres and destinations are Isla Mujeres and the island of Cozumel and its surroundings

In LA PAZ, BCS, Sails at 9am from the Costa Baja marina north of La Paz. The destinations are Balandra Beach, Espiritu Santo Island and San Francisco Island.

Here each participant will be the captain of different daytime and nighttime sections and more advanced navigation techniques will be applied.

ADVANCED COURSE

Long distance sailing

In the Advanced Course, participants are captains, taking turns during the days and nights of the course. More advanced exercises will be practiced and what was learned in previous courses and workshops will be put into practice. Individual night shifts will be done and more advanced theoretical and practical topics will be covered.
