Previous experience is not necessary, and our philosophy is 'learn by sailing'.

Explore the art of sailing with our Introductory Sailing Course in Panama, taught by ISSA-certified instructors.

The course is completely on board. 

In CANCUN, the boat leaves at 9 am from La Marina V&V in Playa Mujeres.  We will go to Isla Mujeres and other destinations in the Bay.

In LA PAZ, BCS, the boat leaves at 9 am from La Marina CostaBaja.  We will go to Balandra Beach and Espiritu Santo Island.

Introductory Sailing Course

The introductory course lasts 3 days, all the time on board . During this course you will be introduced to all the basic topics of sailing cruising yachts in an introductory manner . An important focus will be placed on the different sailing positions and on tacking and gybing maneuvers. You will also learn a lot about life on board.

At the end of this course you will obtain your certificate to process the international ISSA Yacht Crew license.

The boat used depends on the number of participants in the course, we have boats available for groups of 2-8 people.

We typically use the 45-55 foot monohull sailboats listed on our website. They feature 4 private cabins.
