THEMATIC WORKSHOPS Long-distance sailing

We offer our thematic workshop program for those who wish to gain more practical experience.

At Veleros y Catamaranes we firmly believe that experience is the best teacher. When we go out, sail and live experiences, good or bad, and situations occur that we must resolve, that is when we learn the most and it gives us confidence as captains.

For this reason we offer our Thematic Workshops in which everyone has the opportunity to reserve their cabin to learn about a specific nautical sailing topic, or to experience expeditions and voyages on board.

These workshops are not limited to those who have completed the introductory and intermediate levels of our program , since anyone who wants to participate and gain experience can do so without needing prior experience.

• Strong Winds and Curls
• Safety and Survival
• Ketch Sailing
• Printed Nautical Charts
• Charters without captain
• Man overboard rescue

After completing 28 days at sea in 2 different maritime zones, you will be able to take the Advanced Course and obtain the international ISSA Offshore Skipper certification.

The boat used depends on the number of participants in the course and the workshop to be held. We have boats available for groups of 2-8 people.
