Curso Intensivo de Navegación de Veleros.  -ISSA Offshore Skipper- en Colombia 

 Este curso es para aquellos valientes que deseen hacer el nivel introductorio e intermedio juntos en un Curso Intensivo de 7 días todo el tiempo a bordo.  Es importante tomar en cuenta que puede resultar algo intenso para algunos por estar todos los días en el mar y el barco.  Esta diseñado para personas que no tengan nada de experiencia y quieran avanzar lo mas rápido en su entrenamiento para obtener su licencia internacional ISSA Inshore Skipper.  

El curso intensivo dura 7 días, todo el tiempo abordo. Zarpa a las 9am desde el Club Náutico en Manga y los destinos son las islas de Rosario y de San Bernardo aunque pueden variar.  También harán una navegación nocturna de toda la noche  Al principio del curso los participantes son pasajeros y mientras va avanzado la formación, se convierten en tripulantes activos y terminan como patrones de la embarcación.

Do the prices include food?

No, food is separate. There are two options: a communal market or the services of a private chef. After your reservation, you will be invited to a group where this will be coordinated with the entire group.

Are the courses certified?

Yes, at the end of the course you can process with additional cost:

  • The ISSA international license.
  • The national DIMAR license (only for Colombian citizens).

Can minors participate?

Yes, children aged 7 and over can take part in the courses. However, certification is only available to those aged 18 and over.

What are the recommendations to bring to the course?

We recommend you bring:

  • Flashlight.
  • Personal medication and motion sickness pills (if needed).
  • Gloves to protect hands.
  • Windbreaker jacket.
  • A towel and soft bags that can be easily folded (space on board is limited).

Optional: books, personal entertainment and music to share with the team.

The sailboat has everything else you need.

Do I need previous experience?

  • For the introductory course, you do not need previous experience.
  • For the Intermediate course, you must have certified experience or have completed our introductory course.
